RE: 50TH Class Reunion at Mackinac Island
We will be celebrating our 50th Class Reunion Sunday September 24, 2006 through Tuesday, September 26, 2006. It will take place on Mackinac Island and we will stay at Grand Hotel. We are returning to Mackinac Island exactly fifty years after going there on our Senior Class Trip aboard the S. S. South American in 1956.
Grand Hotel http://www.grandhotel.com, the world’s largest summer hotel, is offering us an unbelievable, all-inclusive package price of just $425.00 per couple for the entire reunion. It includes lodging Sunday and Monday nights, all meals during your stay (including lunch on Monday), a complimentary cocktail party Monday evening, the reunion banquet, added charges in lieu of gratuities and Michigan sales tax. A single package is just $275.00 per person. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE USING THE OFFICIAL REUNION REGISTRATION FORM; telephone reservations will NOT receive our special negotiated package rate. Rooms will be assigned based on when reservations are received, so get your reservations in early.
The absolute deadline is August 25, 2006.
For those traveling from out of state to attend, we have negotiated a special discount with Northwest Airlines. The closest airport to Mackinac Island is Pellston (PLN) and shuttle van service is available to the boat docks in Mackinaw City. The Northwest WorldFile code is NYUBV. Of course, those who wish to drive can reach the island by ferry from either Mackinaw City of St. Ignace. Full details will be included in your confirmation packet from Grand Hotel.
